KT Rolster, finalists at Worlds, will look to maintain their momentum
As 2025 Worlds finalists, KT Rolster return to the LCK with intense scrutiny ahead, their offseason delivering some surprises. While retaining their topside duo and midlaner, the botlane underwent a complete overhaul, as Seo "deokdam" Dae-gil and Jeong "Peter" Yoon-su departed for DN Freecs.
In their place, KT brought back Kim "Aiming" Ha-ram as AD Carry, forming a six-man roster with dual supports. 2020 world champion Jang "Ghost" Yong-jun returns to Korea after three years abroad, roleswapping to support alongside 19-year-old Oh "Pollu" Dong-gyu, who already boasts two LCK seasons under his belt.
Keep the Essentials
Aside from the new botlane trio's arrival, the rest of the roster remains intact, with KT Rolster placing continued faith in Lee "PerfecT" Seung-min despite his challenging year. The true offseason masterstroke—and essential move—for KT was retaining mid-jungle duo Gwak "Bdd" Bo-seong and Moon "Cuzz" Woo-chan, the pivotal pieces of their campaign.
The coaching staff remains unchanged as well, with head coach Go "Score" Dong-bin signed through 2026 and assistant Son "Sonstar" Seung-ik on the same terms. Only Kim "Museong" Moo-seong was nearing the contract's end, KT extended him. KT Rolster stunned the world by reaching the Worlds final just a month ago; for next year, they aim to build on those same foundations.
A few Question Marks
While PerfecT, Cuzz, and Bdd played crucial roles in KT Rolster's Worlds deep run, deokdam and Peter were equally pivotal, with the botlane making decisive plays at key moments. However, questions arise around their replacements, and those, at the AD Carry and support roles.
Aiming's return sparks mixed reactions, as he endured a difficult year with Dplus KIA. This marks his third stint with KT—initially in 2020 before moving to China's Bilibili Gaming, returning in 2022 for an average season. The following year saw his peak performance, with KT posting a historic 17-1 Summer split and a quarterfinal Worlds exit to JD Gaming.
Fun fact: Ghost teamed up with Peter for multiple BO3 series in 2022 with Nongshim RedForce, did you know?
The support role presents similar uncertainties, where Peter shone with creativity and consistency in the LCK and at Worlds. He will be replaced by two contrasting profiles: Ghost, roleswapping after a storied ADC career capped by a world championship, though not his first time in support—he played it across three BO3 series in Spring 2022 with NS.
The second support is Pollu, joining from OKSavingsBank BRION. Pollu spent his entire career with BRO, competing in the LCK in 2024 and 2025 with a solid debut performances. He won the KeSPA Cup last year, continues gaining experience, and leaves BRO for the first time.

This roster may take time to gel, particularly in the botlane, with the full LCK Cup ahead to iron out kinks. Questions linger on whether one support will dominate playtime and which will forge the strongest synergy with Aiming and Cuzz. Six-man rosters thrived this year—like CTBC Flying Oyster—and KT Rolster's experiment bears watching in the LCK.
