After a year below expectations, paiN will make changes to its coaching staff
PaiN Gaming has decided who will lead its roster for the CBLOL in 2026. Contrary to fan speculation, the Tradicionais will have a home-grown talent in the role of Head Coach.
According to sources heard by Sheep Esports, Matheus “Sarkis” Guimarães, the team's current Assistant Coach, will be promoted to the role of head coach. He will take the place of Sin “Xero” Hyeok, who will take on a slightly more distant role from the team at this time, acting as General Manager, as first reported by LTA Insider.
According to the report, Sarkis' promotion has always been paiN Gaming's first choice for next year. At no point, therefore, did the organization make an offer or consider another name.
One of the most talked about names, Gabriel “Revolta” Henud, a legendary player on the Brazilian scene, gained momentum, but it was nothing more than noise on social media, as the Tradicionais never had any conversations with the now Team Liquid content creator.
