Cho “Castle” Hyeon-seong will remain the toplaner for Disguised in the LCS for the 2026 season, according to Sheep Esports sources. The South Korean toplaner, originally from the LCK CL team KT Challengers, will remain in North America for a third consecutive year. Castle reportedly spent an extended period trialing with Team Liquid, but ultimately won’t be joining the organization. After not finding another spot in the LCS, he is now set to re-sign with DSG.

Filling his own shoes

The former Immortals toplaner stays in the LCS with Disguised after spending this season with them competing in the LTA North Conference. Despite a tough year when the team never placed higher than fifth-sixth across all three splits — Castle was seen as one of the few bright spots in a struggling roster. His laning consistency and strong teamfighting made him a steady presence even as DSG failed to find its footing in its debut year. He was also a part of the roster largely dominating the Promotion Tournament in October, allowing Disguised to keep their Guest slot.

The organization itself appears to be choosing stability heading into 2026. But according to sources, a few major changes can still be expected, despite Disguised's will to build on its late-season progress rather than start from scratch. After enduring an inconsistent first year in the LCS ecosystem, the team showed glimpses of promise toward the end of 2025, particularly during its fight to retain its slot in the Promotion Tournament. But with every player’s contract set to expire in November, and a status of a Guest Team that is not very attractive for players, it is highly likely Castle will be the only re-signed player among the roster.
